3 Year Old Classroom Teacher Assistant: We have an immediate opening for a full time Head Start preschool teacher assistant in our 3 year old classroom. This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday that runs 9 1/2 months during our school year. Wage range is $10.74 to $11.85 per hour depending on experience. This position assists the Teacher in working with preschool children in the classroom. Preference may be given to candidates with Early Childhood I & II, a CDA, or experience with preschool children. Must have Early Childhood I & II classes and a CDA within 1 year of hire. Classes paid for by the agency. Coordinated Entry Specialist:28 hour/week position. Coordinates the entry system for homeless clients in Adams, Columbia, Dodge, Juneau and Sauk Counties. Assesses and refers clients to housing agencies for placement. Enters data which prioritizes clients for appropriate housing services. Implements outreach services to inform agencies of the coordinated entry system to target homeless clients most in need of services. Recruits agencies to participate in coordinated entry. Ensures housing agencies follow coordinated entry standards. B.S. in Social Work preferred. Preferences considered for experience working with homeless/at-risk clients, conflict resolution skills, and community collaboration. Wage: $15 to $16.56/hour. Baraboo Head Start Cook, Interviewing now. This position is 32-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during our school year which begins mid-August and finishes at the end of May. The wage range is $9.66 to $10.67 per hour depending on experience. Duties for this position include planning, purchasing, preparing and serving meals in a Head Start preschool setting following CACFP guidelines. The cook also may prepare nutrition activities with preschool children.
